What makes a god?

What makes a god?
The ability to
Create?
The power to control
The seemingly inevitable?
To be able to twist
And overwrite
Reality?
Then bow before
Me;
For I am the creator
Of many universes.
I have given the gift
Of life
To those fortunate enough
To receive my
Mercy.
Ive made them
homes,
Woven them
A personality-
Often a more complex one
Than a single mortal
Can handle inside them
All at once-
Given them their own environment;
Their own future, past,
and present.
Is this not what you seek
In a god?
The ability to do the
Impossible?
To somehow be able prove
One's self
To be Above mere human
Capabilities?
Is the problem then that I am
Too real?
Too human for you to
Accept as a god?
For I am just as real
As you claim your god to be.
I have brought men
Back from the grave
And sent them
Mercilessly
To their doom
With just the twist
of my pencil;
No need for silly
Miracles.
For I am not a fan of
the art of
Presentation.
I simply do what is required
Of my skill.
I have cured diseases and fed
The hungry
Just as easily as I have
Condemned the sick
And starved innocent beings
With the simple action of
Manipulating words
Carefully scrawled out
On a folded piece of
Seemingly discarded paper.
I have brought love
And death
Into the lives of millions.
I have made disaster-
Both natural and not-
Rain down upon the living
And the damned.
Most of my creations
know not
Of my existence,
But isn't that too what is so
Unique
About your god?
Tell me then,
What makes a god?
